Wayfinding Maps

Role: Interactive Designer
Tools: Illustrator, Photoshop
Skills: Cartographic Design, Wayfinding Systems, Visual Hierarchy, Information Design

While working at TouchSource, a company specializing in interactive directories, I designed custom wayfinding maps that helped users navigate complex environments such as malls, campuses, and commercial spaces. These maps needed to quickly orient visitors while integrating seamlessly with each client’s brand identity.

I created clear, simplified layouts that prioritized legibility and intuitive navigation. Each map balanced spatial accuracy with visual hierarchy, using color, iconography, and labeling to guide users efficiently to their destinations.
